Eid-ul-Fitr Conference in 2023: When and Where
National Eidgah will host Eid-ul-Fitr prayer meeting in Dhaka at 8 am, while five meetings will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. Baitul Mukarram Khatib Mufti Ruhul Amin will preside over a meeting of leaders at the National Eidgah on the morning of Eid. President Abdul Hamid will join people from all walks of life in the conference. The Dhaka South City Corporation has prepared the Eidgah ground next to the Supreme Court for a 35,000-person gathering, while law enforcement officials have ensured security and the environment around the place of worship. According to the plan, the Baitul Mukarram mosque will have a meeting at 9 o'clock in the morning if the weather is not good or other reasons are not possible to cancel the prayer at the national Eidgah. Intense heat has been sweeping the city since early April. But the Met Office has predicted that rain or thunder may occur in the country on the day of Eid.
Out of 1,435
mosques in Dhaka, 189 will hold Eid congregation this time. Imam Mufti Maulana
Mizanur Rahman will lead the first congregation at Baitul Mukarram at 7 am. The
other four meetings will be at 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am, and 10:45 am. Dhaka
University Mosque will host two meetings at 8:00 am and 9:00 am, while the Ahle
Hadis meeting is scheduled for 7:00 am at the university. Conference at
Salimullah Muslim Hall, Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah Hall, Fazlul Huq Muslim Hall
and Regional Residential University will be held at 8 am. The prayer at the
South Square of the National Parliament will take place at 8:30 am. Moghbazar
BTCL Colony Mosque will offer prayers at 8 am. Less than six meetings will be
held in Bashundhara district. Markazul Fikril Islami Mosque will pray at 7:00
a.m., Umme Kulsum Mosque at 7:15 a.m., Block F Mosque at 7:30 a.m., Baitul
Jannat Mosque at 8:00 a.m. , Madinatul Ulum Mosque at 8:15 am in Fakihul.
Millat Mufti Abdur Rahman Mosque at 8:30 am
